From June 12 to 14, 2024, the Vietnam International Coatings Exhibition (COATINGS VIETNAM 2024) was successfully held at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center in Ho Chi Minh City.
As one of the most professional coatings industry exhibitions in Vietnam, this event attracted professional visitors and buyers from various countries and regions, including Vietnam, Malaysia, Thailand, South Korea, the United States, Australia, Iran, Uzbekistan, Cambodia, and Sri Lanka.
Our company’s core product is rutile titanium dioxide, which is widely used in coatings, inks, plastics, paper, and other industries. During the exhibition, buyers from the architectural coatings, industrial coatings, powder coatings, and ink sectors visited our booth, engaging in in-depth discussions with us regarding product technical specifications, application performance, and supply solutions.

In terms of market demand, Vietnam and the broader Southeast Asian region continue to demonstrate strong and sustained demand for stable, cost-effective titanium dioxide products. Through discussions with clients from Vietnam, Malaysia, Thailand, and South Korea, we not only gained multiple substantial cooperation leads but also gained a clearer understanding of local market requirements regarding titanium dioxide whiteness, covering power, dispersibility, and batch consistency.
Vietnam is one of the fastest-growing economies in Asia. In recent years, continued investment in infrastructure construction and urban residential renovation has driven steady growth in the architectural coatings sector. Meanwhile, niche segments such as marine coatings, protective coatings, and motorcycle coatings are also showing promising development potential. Notably, approximately 70% of Vietnam’s raw materials for coating production rely on imports, presenting a clear market entry point for titanium dioxide suppliers.
During the exhibition, the organizer arranged factory visits and local coating market inspection tours, helping exhibitors gain a more direct understanding of Vietnam’s local production capacity, demand structure, and sales channels. By participating in these activities, our company further validated our previous research on the Southeast Asian market and established a field-based foundation for formulating our localized service strategy.

This exhibition represented an important step for our company in expanding into the Southeast Asian market. Although the exhibition has concluded, follow-up efforts are progressing in an orderly manner. Our company will integrate the customer feedback and market information gathered during the exhibition, continue to optimize product alignment and technical support capabilities, and support the business development of customers in Vietnam and the broader Southeast Asian region with stable titanium dioxide supply and professional service.
We sincerely thank all friends and partners who visited our booth. We look forward to establishing more practical cooperation in the future.
