CHINAPLAS 2025 has officially kicked off at the Shenzhen World Exhibition & Convention Center. As a major global event for the plastics and rubber industry, this year’s edition is built around the theme “Transform, Collaborate, Shape a Sustainable Future,” bringing together over 4,500 exhibitors across 380,000 square meters of exhibition space. The opening day saw the launch of more than 120 global or Asia-first technologies.
From the use of PEEK materials in humanoid robots to carbon fiber composites empowering aerospace applications, the plastics and rubber industry is advancing rapidly into high-end manufacturing. Meanwhile, more than 1,600 raw material suppliers and over 3,800 machinery exhibits are sharing the spotlight. With over 980 “Specialized, Refined, Distinctive, and Innovative” enterprises, including 260 national-level “Little Giant” companies, the event reflects the systemic upgrading of China’s plastics and rubber supply chain.
